1964 - 2021 Kennedy Half P&D 122 Coin COMPLETE Uncirculated & Satin Set (with 2 special "S" issues) including 9 Silver Issues
Up for sale is a 1964 - 2021 Kennedy Half 122 Coin set which includes ALL of the regularly struck Philadelphia and Denver business strike coins, the 12 "Satin" strike P&D coins from 2005 - 2010 and including 2 special issue business strike "S" coins.  This set is a COMPLETE set of business and satin strike Kennedy Halves (but does NOT contain any of the proofs). This large set includes many different and interesting Kennedy Halves:
1) 1964 & 1964 D -  only Kennedy halves minted in 90% silver for circulation and the 1964 D half is the only Kennedy half with the mint mark on the reverse.
2) 1965, 1966, 1967, 1968 D and 1969 D - 40% silver Kennedy Halves minted for circulation
3) 1970 D- 40% silver half only minted for the 1970 mint set (ie. it was not minted and put into circulation) and is therefore relatively scarce
4) 1976 "S" 40% silver half - only minted in special silver mint sets for the bicentennial.
5) 1982 P&D/1983 P&D - Only circulation years of the Kennedy halves which were NOT included in mint sets and therefore uncirculated examples are more challenging to find.
6) The 12 "satin" strike P&D coins from 2005 - 2010 which were only available from the US mint sets from those years
7) All 2002 and onward Kennedy halves, both P&D - The last Kennedy halves minted and released into general circulation were those in 2001.  Since 2002 Kennedy halves, both P&D coins, have ONLY been available by buying directly from the mint in bags/rolls.  Therefore mintages on these coins are modest (see mintages at the end of this listing).
8) 2017 "S" Enhanced Uncirculated Kennedy Half - in 2017 as part of the 225th mint anniversary set the mint released an "S" mint mark "enhanced uncirculated" coin which cannot be found in circulation and the sets were sold out.
Most all of the coins in this set have been sourced directly from mint rolls/bags/mint sets and are nice uncirculated coins (exceptions are the years in which there were no mint sets, such as 1982/1983).  This is a nice complete set of business strike Kennedy Halves for a very reasonable price.  The coins will be shipped either in their original mint "cello" packaging (cut out from mint sets and un-opened), 2x2 holders for pre-2000 halves NOT in mint cello packaging and inert plastic rolls for the 2000-2020 coins sourced from mint rolls/bags.
